INT. JANE'S BEDROOM - DAY Jane, an adventurous and curious 14-year-old, and Sam, her girlfriend, sit on Jane's bed, flipping through a comic book. Aaron Ling, their neighbor and friend, enters the room with a mischievous grin on his face. They exchange greetings. AARON Hey, guys! What's up? JANE Not much, just hanging out. What brings you here, Aaron? Aaron reaches into his backpack and pulls out a small, strange-looking gadget. Sam's eyes widen with excitement. SAM Whoa, what is that? AARON Oh, just one of my alien hunting gadgets. No big deal. Jane and Sam exchange puzzled glances. JANE Wait, alien hunting gadgets? You mean like... extraterrestrial aliens? AARON (laughing) Yeah, exactly! My family and I, we're actually alien hunters. Sam's eyes light up, eager for an explanation. SAM That's so cool! But why? Are you guys protecting Earth from these extraterrestrial threats or something? Aaron's smile fades, and he looks somewhat embarrassed. AARON Well, not exactly. See, it all started when I was little. I used to be terrified of aliens. I couldn't sleep, constantly scared they would abduct me or something. Jane and Sam exchange sympathetic looks. JANE I'm sorry, Aaron. That must have been really tough. Aaron shrugs, trying to downplay it. AARON Yeah, it wasn't easy. But one day, my parents decided to face my fears head-on. They turned our fear into strength and became alien hunters to show me that we could protect ourselves from anything. Jane and Sam can't hide their fascination and curiosity. SAM So, you hunt aliens as a family now? AARON Yep! We've actually encountered a few extraterrestrial beings over the years. Nothing too dangerous, fortunately. We've even made some friends along the way. JANE That's amazing, Aaron! I can't believe you've been keeping all this a secret! SAM Totally! It's like being part of a secret alien-fighting club or something. They all burst into laughter, feeling a newfound bond among them. AARON Well, maybe one day, you two can join us on a mission. That is, if you're not scared of aliens like I used to be. JANE (laughing) Oh, count us in, Aaron! Consider it a challenge! They share excited looks, ready to embark on an intergalactic adventure together. FADE OUT.
