Mike: What's up? What's up?! It's Ohio, man. I can't even play football here. Joel: What are you talking about? Mike: I mean the weather, dude. It's always raining. We can't even get a decent day to play football. Joel: (smiling) Oh, that. Yeah, it sucks. Mike: Sucks?! It's ruining my life. I moved here from Texas, where we play every day. And now, I can't even play once a week. Joel: (trying to cheer him up) Come on, Mike. It's not that bad. We can play when it's not raining. Mike: (sarcastically) Oh, yeah, because that's going to happen. It's Ohio, man. It rains all the time. Joel: (sensing his frustration) Alright, alright. I get it. But, we can still play indoors. There's that sports complex a few miles away - we can rent a space there. Mike: (perking up) That's a good idea. Let's do it. CUT TO: INT. SPORTS COMPLEX - DAY Mike and Joel are playing football inside the sports complex. They're having a great time. Mike: (laughing) This is awesome. I forgot how much I loved playing football. Joel: (grinning) See, all that worrying for nothing. Mike: (nodding) You're right. I guess, I just needed to find a way to keep playing. Joel: (patting his back) And you did. It's just a matter of adapting, my friend. Mike: (smiling) Yeah, I guess so. CUT TO: EXT. LOCAL PARK - DAY Mike and Joel are sitting on the same bench as earlier. Joel: (looking at his watch) We should head back. It's getting late. Mike: (standing up) Yeah, let's go. I can't wait to come back the sports complex next week. Joel: (chuckling) I knew you'd come around. Mike: (smiling) It's Ohio, man. Gotta find a way to make it work. FADE OUT.
