Just had a weird encounter with the new kid, Amy. SAM Oh, the one who moved here? What happened? RUBY She just started picking on me for no reason. Called me names and made fun of my clothes. JANE That's not cool. Don't worry, we've got your back. Suddenly, AMY walks by, glancing at RUBY with a sneer. AMY Oh look, it's the fashion disaster squad. Ready for another round of mockery, Ruby? RUBY clenches her fists and takes a step forward, but JANE and SAM quickly intervene. JANE Hold on, Amy! There's no reason to be mean to Ruby. What's your problem? AMY (Mockingly) Oh, nothing. Just thought I'd have some fun with the school's outcast. SAM That's not okay. We won't tolerate bullying here. JANE Yeah, it's unnecessary drama. You might want to watch yourself, Amy. AMY scoffs and crosses her arms defiantly. AMY Please, like I care what you think. Just a couple of nobodies trying to defend their loser friend. RUBY tries to hold back tears, but JANE steps closer to AMY. JANE We may not be popular, but at least we're kind. Your attitude won't get you anywhere. SAM Plus, Ruby is an awesome friend. We won't let you push her around. AMY (Laughs) You losers can try, but it won't change a thing. Watch your backs. AMY struts away, leaving JANE, SAM, and RUBY standing together, determined. RUBY (Sniffles) Thanks, guys. That really means a lot to me. JANE Of course, Ruby. We're here for you, and we won't let anyone bully you. SAM Absolutely. We'll show Amy that friendship and kindness are stronger than hate. JANE Well said, Sam. Let's stick together and make sure Amy realizes she's messing with the wrong group.
