Max looks up at John with a small smile, her mind still preoccupied with the strange vision she had earlier. "Yeah, sorry. I just had a weird moment earlier, like a deja vu or something." She shrugs, looking down at her own hands. "It's nothing important, really. Thanks for asking though." John nods, concern etched on his face. "If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know. I don't want you to be worrying about stuff all the time." Max looks up again, her eyes a little brighter. "Thanks, John. That's really kind of you." She leans her head against his shoulder, feeling grateful for his presence and support. "Sometimes I feel like the world is just too much, you know?" John puts an arm around her, squeezing her gently. "I know, Max. But you don't have to do it alone. I'm here for you, always." The two of them sit in silence for a little while, the school chatter fading into the background. For Max, at least, everything feels a little more bearable with John by her side.
