Sonic and Lilac were hanging out in a field, enjoying the peaceful serenity of the countryside. Suddenly, Lilac's face turned red and she looked flustered. Sonic noticed her reaction and asked, "What's wrong, Lilac? Are you okay?" Lilac hesitated before speaking up, "Um, Sonic, have you ever heard of 'Lilac x Sonic'?" Sonic raised an eyebrow, confused. "No, I haven't. What is it?" Lilac shifted uncomfortably, clearly embarrassed. "It's a ship between us two...a romantic pairing in fanfiction." Sonic chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh, I see. Well, people can ship whoever they want, but it's not really our thing, is it?" Lilac nodded in agreement, relieved. "No, definitely not. We're just friends, after all." Sonic grinned. "Yeah, and that's just fine with me." Lilac smiled back, glad to have Sonic's support. "Me too."
